You can see the home page, the syllabus and the prices without paying. To study you need a subscription: it gives you access to everything from day one and you can cancel anytime.

The AI tutor helps you with your study questions at any time (it guides you with questions, without giving you the solution) and in the Community other learners answer. For payments, your account or any problem a person answers you by email at carlosgc@marsofacademy.com, usually within 48–72 h.

Yes, in a couple of clicks from Subscription → Manage subscription. You won't be charged again and you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.

Pro is digital content you access immediately. That's why, before paying, we ask you to confirm you want to start now and that you know you lose the right of withdrawal by doing so. The terms of sale and the refund policy explain it.

You pay on a secure Stripe page by card or other methods Stripe offers. We never see or store your card details. Stripe emails you the invoices.

In the Stripe portal (Subscription → Manage subscription) you can update your card, download your invoices and cancel whenever you like.

Stripe retries the payment for a few days. Meanwhile you keep access for a 7-day grace period; if it isn't resolved, your access is paused without losing your progress.

No. They are verifiable certificates of what you've demonstrated in the academy, not official qualifications.

Spanish and English. The English version is in beta: the interface and the explanations are translated, but some code comments and test messages are still in Spanish.

It's the academy's currency, a gold coin with the ☯. You earn it by studying: 10 per completed lesson, 50 per unit exam passed, 150 per verified project, 15 for today's challenge, 100 for the weekly one and a bonus for keeping your streak (up to 300 a day). With it you get mascots, accessories, academy colours, editor themes, profile touches and streak shields in the shop. Nothing in the shop gives you an advantage for passing.

Two short ways to keep your pace. Today's challenge is 3 review questions on what you've already studied (about 5 minutes): get 2 of 3 right and you earn 15 yang. The weekly challenge is a 20–40 minute coding exercise at your level, Monday to Sunday, worth 100 yang. Complete 3 weekly challenges in a month and you get that month's exclusive item, yours for good. The shop also has the streak shield (100 yang, hold up to 2): if you miss a day it's used automatically and your streak carries on (at most one a week). The friends leaderboard and the streak reminder email are optional and off by default.

They're badges you earn by studying, never by paying: finishing each course (300 yang; course 1 also brings the Golden Bit mascot and all four courses, the Crown), keeping your streak for 7, 30, 100 or 365 days (bronze, silver, gold and diamond flames), completing weekly challenges, opening every lab, finding Bit's secret lines or having the person who asked in the Community mark your answers as the best. Each achievement pays its prize once and you'll see them in “My achievements”, with hints on how to get the ones you're missing. And every so often there are seasonal events with special challenges and exclusive items you can only get while they last.

No. There's no way to buy yang or shop items with money, and there are no loot boxes. The only thing you pay for is the subscription; yang is earned by studying and with the chests for staying subscribed.

They stay in your account: cancelling doesn't take away your yang or anything you've got, and if you come back it's all where you left it. What stops are the new monthly chests (and the renewal gift, if you were on the annual plan).
