Terms of sale
Last updated: September 28, 2026 · Version 2026-09-28.1
These terms govern the purchase of the Marsof Academy Pro subscription by consumers. Read them before paying: by buying you accept them. Version 2026-09-28.1. You can save or print them from your browser and, when you buy, we email you their essential details.
1. Who sells to you
- Carlos Gálvez Carrillo
- Tax ID (NIF/CIF): 49080222Q
- Address: Calle Corín Tellado, 19, 21130 Mazagón, Moguer (Huelva)
- Email: carlosgc@marsofacademy.com
You can email us for any question, problem or complaint.
2. What you buy
A subscription that gives access, while it is active, to all of Marsof Academy's content and features: the four courses and the optional advanced level, AI tutor, guided projects, verifiable certificates, interview prep, labs, papers and guided Workshop projects. Without an active subscription the platform can't be used.
- Pro is an online service giving access to digital content and features. It doesn't include human tutoring or personalised support.
- Certificates aren't official qualifications.
- Technical requirements: an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge) with JavaScript enabled and an internet connection. Python exercises run in your browser.
3. Who can buy
You need a Marsof Academy account and must be an adult (18 or older). Pro is for personal use: one subscription per person, without sharing the account. These terms are designed for consumers; if you want to buy as a business or professional, write to us first.
4. Price and taxes
- The price is the one you see on the pricing page and on the payment screen before confirming. It is the final price in euros: taxes are included and there are no extra charges.
- If you live in Spain, it includes 21 % VAT. If you live in another EU country, Carlos Gálvez Carrillo applies the VAT due in your country (One-Stop Shop scheme, OSS).
- If the pricing page says «taxes extra», taxes are calculated for your country and added, visibly, before you confirm payment.
- Each renewal is charged at the same price, unless we notify you of a change as explained in point 7.
- Stripe sends you the invoice or receipt for each charge; you can also download them in Subscription → Manage subscription.
5. How to buy
- Choose the plan and see the final price.
- Tick the box accepting these terms and the refund policy (after reading the privacy policy) and the box consenting to start right away (point 8).
- Click «Continue to secure payment» and pay on Stripe's page, where you can check the amount and correct your details before confirming. Until then you can go back or change plan at no cost.
- Pro is activated as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. We email you a confirmation (durable medium) with the contract details: seller, plan, amount, version of these terms and the date and time of your consent. Stripe sends you the invoice.
The contract is concluded in Spanish or English, depending on the language you use. We keep an electronic record of your purchase (accepted version, date and time) and you can ask us at carlosgc@marsofacademy.com for a copy of the terms you accepted.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland), an authorised payment institution. You pay on its secure pages (checkout.stripe.com): we never see or store your card details. The available payment methods are the ones Stripe shows you.
7. Duration, renewal and cancellation
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year) and is charged again, until you cancel.
- You can cancel whenever you want, at no cost and without giving reasons, in Subscription → Manage subscription. You won't be charged again and you keep Pro until the end of the period already paid. Your account and your progress aren't lost.
- If there is a free trial, it is shown before paying: when it ends you are charged automatically, unless you cancel first; if you cancel during the trial, you aren't charged anything.
- If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance and before your next renewal, so you can cancel if it doesn't suit you.
- If your plan is annual, we email you at least 7 days before each renewal, with the date and the amount, so you can cancel in time if you don't want to renew.
- If a charge fails, Stripe retries it and you keep Pro for 7 days; if it isn't resolved, your access is paused without losing your progress.
8. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you generally have 14 calendar days from the purchase to withdraw from a distance contract without giving reasons (arts. 102 et seq. of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, TRLGDCU, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
Pro gives immediate access to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. Under art. 103.m) TRLGDCU, the right of withdrawal doesn't apply once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose it, and we have confirmed this to you on a durable medium.
That's why, before paying, we ask you to tick a box with that consent and acknowledgement. We keep the date and time you gave it and confirm it to you by email. Without that box we can't activate Pro immediately and, for now, we don't offer the option of waiting until the 14 days have passed.
If, despite the above, the law granted you the right of withdrawal over any part of Pro (for example, because it were considered a digital service rather than digital content), we'll respect it: if you withdraw within the 14 days, we'll refund what you paid minus the part proportional to the time you had Pro (art. 108.3 TRLGDCU), within 14 days at most and using the same payment method.
To withdraw in that case, send a clear statement to carlosgc@marsofacademy.com from your account email. You can use this template, although it isn't mandatory:
- «To Carlos Gálvez Carrillo, Calle Corín Tellado, 19, 21130 Mazagón, Moguer (Huelva), carlosgc@marsofacademy.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my Marsof Academy Pro subscription contract, concluded on [date]. Account name and email: [ ]. Date: [ ].»
9. Legal guarantee: if something doesn't work
You have the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (arts. 114 et seq. TRLGDCU). As Pro is supplied continuously, we are liable for any lack of conformity that appears while your subscription is active.
If the content or service doesn't work as described, write to us at carlosgc@marsofacademy.com: we'll bring it into conformity free of charge and within a reasonable time. If that isn't possible, if we don't do it within a reasonable time or if the defect is serious, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or terminate the contract and get back the proportional part of what you paid. This guarantee is free and doesn't depend on any other.
10. Support
Study support is the AI tutor and the Community. There is no personalised human support and no guaranteed response times for study questions. For payment, billing, privacy, problems or complaints write to carlosgc@marsofacademy.com: a person will help you there.
11. Changes to Pro and to these terms
- We update and improve the content often, at no cost to you.
- If a change negatively affected, in a more than minor way, your access to or use of Pro, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance on a durable medium and you may terminate the contract at no cost within the following 30 days, with a refund of the proportional part of the unused period (art. 126 bis TRLGDCU).
- Changes to these terms apply from your next renewal and we'll tell you beforehand; if they don't suit you, you can cancel.
- If we decide to stop offering Pro, we'll let you know at least 30 days in advance and refund the proportional part of the paid period you won't get to use.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
- Write to us at carlosgc@marsofacademy.com. We answer complaints as soon as possible and always within one month at most (art. 21.3 TRLGDCU).
- Official complaint forms (hojas de quejas y reclamaciones) of the Spanish region where we are established are also available to you: ask us for them by email.
- If we can't reach an agreement, you can go to the consumer services of your region or town council (OMIC) and request arbitration before the Consumer Arbitration Board (Junta Arbitral de Consumo). Carlos Gálvez Carrillo isn't currently adhered to the Consumer Arbitration System; if you request it, we'll consider accepting it in your case. If we reject your complaint, we'll tell you in writing, naming an accredited alternative dispute resolution entity and whether we'll take part (Spanish Law 7/2017).
- The former EU online dispute resolution platform stopped operating in July 2025, which is why we don't link to it.
13. Applicable law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your EU country of residence. In the event of a dispute, you can go to the courts of your place of residence.
